Made by Dave Named Squarespace London Lead Community Partner
We're proud to announce that Made by Dave has been officially named the Squarespace London Lead Community Partner, one of just five such roles that exist globally, spanning London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Montreal.
This is a milestone we're genuinely proud of, and one we don't take lightly. The Lead Community Partner role is not something you apply for. It is appointed directly by Squarespace, recognising one designer or studio per city to represent, grow and lead the Squarespace community locally and in person.
What is a Squarespace Lead Community Partner?
Squarespace has launched a first cohort of official local Circle communities, each overseen by a Lead Community Partner who serves as the dedicated point person for that city. As the London Lead Community Partner, Made by Dave will be:
Hosting and leading in-person Squarespace community meetups in London
Running a dedicated Circle forum group for the London community
Representing London's Squarespace designer community at a platform level
Working directly with Squarespace to provide feedback, education and support
Connecting Squarespace users, designers and businesses across London and the UK
It sits alongside our existing credentials as a Circle Platinum Partner, Authorised Trainer, Marketplace Expert and Community Leader, making Made by Dave one of the most deeply connected Squarespace studios anywhere in the UK.
A new role, built on strong foundations
The London Lead Community Partner role is a new designation from Squarespace, and we're proud to be the first studio to hold it in London. That said, the community leadership work that came before us matters, and we want to acknowledge it properly.
Tasha Dobie of The Square Agency and Sam Crawford of by Crawford have both done brilliant things for London's Squarespace community over the years, from hosting events and creating content to championing what's possible on the platform. Their work has helped shape the community we're now stepping up to lead, and we're grateful for it.
We're taking things forward from here, building on those foundations with in-person meetups, a dedicated Circle London forum group, and a closer connection between London's Squarespace designers, developers and users than ever before.
